What’s up Hillsborough?

For today’s adventure I am taking you to Hillsborough, a special area, situated just off the village of Mt St George. Hillsborough is special because it is the home for one of Tobago’s major reservoirs. A large supply of our drinking water on the island comes from that particular dam. So, naturally the area is not highly populated, since we certainly don’t want the area overcrowded.

Thankfully, the lack of population encourages quietude and relaxation. The river calms your spirit and makes you forget about the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

I highly recommend that you visit the Greenhill waterfall. There is signage and a pathway that guide you to the falls and there are also benches strategically placed where you can sit and enjoy nature.
